I never really looked at myself or my trading in this way before… It is helpful and amazingly no one else seems to talk about this angle on trading, but it is very real. Thanks for posting it!

Indeed: only business has the rationale to be be flexible in order to survive, same with forex when the market mood changes.

Right! I am still learning the business part, hopefully next video will provide some insight about this.

I need to become business like in my trading after many years of doing a service for others that never made a profit but that I enjoyed doing. Now that I have chosen trading currencies as a vehicle to supplement my state pension (UK) I really need to have a success oriented profit making outlook.

I have stopped live trading and am just using a demo account until I am satisfied with my progress in becoming a consistently profitable trader overtime allowing for small budgeted losses along the way.

I understand the need to do this, but have never got my wits around how I can do things differently to treat trading as a business. Trading from home for an hour or two daily doesn’t have many variables to do things differently than just doing it. I am hoping further videos on the practical side will help clear up this point.

    You’ve got my attention…..wanting more 🙂

An almost always neglected aspect but not surprising. The same applies with any profession or trade. Being a competent doctor or plumber does not equate to being profitable on its own so why should trading be any different? Great insight Brian, thank you!

I’ve heard on other webinars that you need a certain amount of hours and number of trades per year to be considered a business, please address in future videos?

Interesting. Have not shared it because no one that I know is interested, in fact have told me I am crazy to even think about it!
